Which is pretty much everyone who’s seen it, these guys have gotten insanely amazing at making a tv show:

Oh imagine that, it takes a few years for them to figure things out, since everyone hated these guys when they started.
People hated the “old” Top Gear when they started too.
Give the new Top Gear a chance, it’s not a hard concept.

But none of these 3 was driving everyone insane when the show started. On the other hand Chris Evans needs to go.

I enjoy TG US a lot and have seen every episode but man is it getting predictable. That said they finally neutered Tanner so hopefully they can stop Rutledge copping out at every and any opportunity and then I can happily recommend this show.

I know. I have no horse in this race since I hate Chris Evans on a deep personal level. Long story short is that TGUSA was at its worst when it tried to copy British TG, and the new guys are going to flounder unless they come up with their own thing. But I’m not sure BBC will allow them enough deviation to get it right. We’ll see.

They’ve made a TV show, yes.
But have they made Top Gear, at least in the form we know? To that I say no.

I just re-watched the first episode of Top Gear 2.0 and other than the awkward car buying guy, it was fantastic. Great car reviews and insight by Hammond and Clarkson and the chemistry between the two was already strong.

Name is there for recognition, but they’ve certainly made it their own.

Adam has always been my favorite, I’m just glad that they stopped treating him like a COMPLETE imbecile.

I would say that TG USA is very similar to every TG special made in the last 5 years. Because the specials are just challenges and competitions with no studio time. Sounds the same to me.

Who gives a shit? They made a car show that stands on its own.

EDIT: HA just went back and looked at the header, and saw this was TG US, not new new TG. What I was saying earlier was directed to New New TG.
I enjoy TG US, especially this new season.
That’s partially what I’m saying, this new new TG would be better if they didn’t try to make it like Old New TG. Evans can present, but he’s no clarkson. But who says we need a new Clarkson anyway? Change the format, give us new presenters each week, and capitalize on everyone’s strengths.
